Founded in 2017 in Vancouver, Canada, Flax Home started as a labor of love for three women who share a mutual appreciation for a great night's sleep. Since then, it’s grown into a thriving community built on our commitment to care: for the community, the product (we truly love linen) and our team. Once known as simply Flax Sleep, today Flax Home is proud to be one of Canada’s go-to for comfortable, luxurious linen for every room. Always made ethically, and always made with care.

Anna Heyd, Co-Founder & CCO

Anna Heyd is a co-founder and the Chief Creative Officer of Flax Home. Coming from a long career in hospitality, Anna brought the idea of creating a linen home essentials brand to her co-founders after experiencing challenges finding linen bedding for her own home. Anna’s creative influence can be seen through the creation of new collections, retail merchandising, and art direction.

Oana Papuc, Co-Founder

Oana Papuc is a co-founder and Strategic Advisor for Flax Home. Oana’s experience as a tax lawyer, as well as her many years in banking and finance, have provided her with exposure to many entrepreneurs and fueled her drive to undertake an entrepreneurial venture herself.



Vivian McCormick, Co-Founder & CEO

Vivian McCormick is a co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Flax Home. Her passion for building purpose-driven businesses starts within Flax Home, where she supports the all female team in everything from production to marketing, and extends out to her treasured community of female and underrepresented entrepreneurs.
