The Heirloom Quilt

This is a great quilt. We bought a queen size for our king bed (it doesn’t hang over the bottom as much as designed, but that is what I prefer) and it works great. It is not overly heavy, so it will be great in summer and we can layer with other blankets if it’s really cold. I love how much the natural fabrics breath.

This quilt really finishes the look of our bed. We layered it over the terracotta duvet and its perfect for a cool night's sleep.

love the quilt! i've been layering it with a heavier duvet for evenings, and just end up sleeping with a sheet and quilt even in winter and it's the perfect weight and warmth!

Absolutely love my Heirloom Quilt in the shell colour, softest quilt ever!

Bought in the spring, and layered it on top of our duvet, but that was too hot for spring. In May we could use it on its own. Now that it's pushing December and temperatures are averaging below zero in the Okanagan, we're back to layering it and it's perfect warmth as a top layer this time of year. It's really light weight so doesn't bog us down when layered. On its own it was soft enough that even my very comfort-obsessed husband approved of it against his skin. That says something!

As per size, it's crazy oversized. I'd check the measurements for your own bed if this concerns you. It hangs down on both sides of the (queen) bed and approaches the floor. It sort of looks like a hotel quilt but I still like it.

You can feel the quality is there. Great purchase.
